I love how real and honest you are and your courage to share your times of weakness and well as strengths. In a strange way, that actually helps my own journey knowing that I don’t have to do everything on time and perfectly. I will still get to where I want to go. It definitely won’t be a straight line, but I will take it all in each day and appreciate whatever comes my way. Thanks for the reminder to give myself some grace. Maybe I’ll sleep better tonight. I hope you do too.

Russell – thanks so much for this comment. Early in my entrepreneurial journey, one of my coaches shocked the hell out of me when he described a day where he didn’t get out of his sweats and sat on the couch and ate potato chips. It was a revelation to me that someone could be THAT successful AND have an imperfect day. Like you said, it helped to know I didn’t have to do everything perfectly.
I’ve made a practice of being transparent about the imperfections, not to make myself small, but to normalize the bad times so they don’t take people down for the count.
