How to Make Everything Easier (seriously!)

Any time you encounter confusion, stress, or indecision, I have a tip that can help every single time. Seriously.

Simply ask yourself, “Am I open to the possibility for this to be easy?”

Some examples:

  • emily quoteStressed out about a deadline? Ask yourself, “Am I open to the possibility that it could be easy to meet my deadline?”
  • Struggling with a problem? Ask yourself, “Am I open to the possibility that I can discover an easy solution?”
  • Worried about a conflict? Ask yourself, “Am I open to the possibility that there is an easy resolution?”

When you shift your focus away from the problems and the chaos, your stress level goes down and simpler solutions become apparent.

Have you ever used this kind of question to help gain clarity? I’d love to know how it’s worked for you!

Founder Mary Cravets started Simply Get Clients because she saw small business owners complicating growing their businesses. Or falling victim to the "build it and they will come" myth. So she developed the simple structure to cut through all the noise of social media, "experts", online funnels, advertising and more to focus on the central problem of business owners: getting more clients. And you know what? There is NOT a one-size-fits-all solution.

I love this question, Mary! I know that I often make things more difficult than they need to be, so I have coached myself to be aware when I’m doing that. But yours is a much more positive, uplifting question that I’m adopting immediately! Ironically, later today I’m doing a workshop on how to make the Holidays ‘Healthy & Happy,’ because far too many of us have allowed the Holidays to become too busy and overwhelming — to the point we don’t enjoy them like we should. I guess it’s a lesson for all of life, isn’t it?

    Thanks for the great insight!
